About
Sarah
Sarah Soeum attended Cypress College where she majored in Nursing and obtained an Associate’s Nursing degree. Her first nursing job was in the medical surgical unit at Long Beach Memorial Hospital helping her local Cambodian community by nursing them to better health. Years later she took the opportunity to move to New York, where she continued working as a bedside nurse on the critical care and cardiac units. While working full time, she decided to advance her degree, attending an online bachelor’s program with the University of Texas at Arlington where she obtained her bachelor’s degree in Nursing. She also further advanced her degree at Pace University in New York where she obtained a Master’s degree becoming a Nurse Practitioner in Family Medicine. After spending 10 years working at the bedside caring for critically ill patients, Sarah felt a strong desire to be involved on the other spectrum of health and wellness. She became very passionate and involved in aesthetics and began training and working in the field.
During Covid in April of 2020, Sarah started a small aesthetic practice from home offering concierge services in Westchester county, New York. She wanted to create a convenient yet high quality aesthetic practice of her own that would provide wonderful, personalized customer service. She was very committed and diligent in her approach. As the business expanded she found herself needing a brick and mortar space to work from, and eventually found a space to rent in Midtown Manhattan. She also continues to provide services to her Westchester clients. The name of her business is, “Be Beautiful New York.”
Outside of being a business woman, she is also a single mother of two young boys, with a copacetic co-parenting relationship with their father. She aspires to become more involved in the community, and demonstrate to young women of all backgrounds to be the best versions of themselves and have faith that if they put their heart and mind into something they can achieve it.
